May 10th 2012 8th Grade Springfield Trip
Had a great time!
The 8th graders (along with Ms.Z, Mr. Mitchell, Mrs. Balaja, and Mrs. Doty) hopped into the Doty bus and spent the day at our state's capitol. We started out at New Salem, followed by Lincoln's Tomb, the Capitol building (and even met the govenor!), and ended w/ nearby Lincoln's home. Was alot of fun!
Will be working in the cost of ibuprofen for the chaperones next year I think--8th grader have the gift of gab, don't they??!..... :)

Be a Host Family for 2012-2013 school year!
We are looking for families to host foreign exchange students for our upcoming school year....can you help?

They are the new company we will be working with this upcoming year
They will help you begin the screening process and once you have done that, they will allow you
to begin viewing the profiles of their students looking for an American Family to call their own next year...
maybe it's yours?

Haven't been blogging like I wanted to this year....probably because it has been SO BUSY! What a great year we have had!
Looking forward to next year!
Hopefully over the summer I will be able to share all the great times we had at CCS this year....

Feed My Starving Children
Wanted to share pictures from our Feed My Starving Children outing on September 27th. The 7th thru 12th graders went to the Aurora Warehouse to serve. Was a great experience and very eye opening! See for yourself......

Paw Print Design: This design comes on our hoodie, the zip-up hoodie, long sleeve shirt, draw string bag, or duffle bag. You can choose either a black or royal blue garment. Forgive my lack of graphic design talent but the picture above gives you an idea. (will look better when tweaked by the screener but you get an good idea here. Shown on white so you can better make out the graphic) The text (c c s est. 2011 and Panthers on the 4 paw pads (I couldn’t change the “panthers” to blue but all the script will be royal blue) are in royal blue, and the paw print itself is in white. The words on the paw print read “CCS” on the first 3 pads of the paw print and the fourth reads “est 2011". Then “PANTHERS” is across the main pad of the paw print. Then down one sleeve “Community” with a paw print in white can be read.
Another design available is for the ladies.....is a rhinestone design. Will be on a black garment and the design is in royal blue rhinestones outlined with white/diamond type rhinestones. A sure to dazzle the most spirited of Panther Fans! Is available on a long sleeved black t-shirt or a black hoodie.
We are also offering the “Panther Head” design. It is available on a white short sleeved T with either blue or black screen, or a royal blue short sleeved T with white screen. You can also get it on a hoodie, zip hoodie, or one of our bags!
